Running on Fumes
The body needs at least 7 hours of rest each night. Sleepy people operate a lot like drunk drivers. Which leads to all kinds of behavioral problems so if you do not want to become the Master of Disaster… Prioritize sleep. It is a luxury. You need to protect your mental and physical health to succeed.

Sleep Hygiene
Check your environment. If you have a set work schedule, one of the best things you can do is establish a routine. Eliminate all of the distractions: address hunger and thirst, oral hygiene, empty your mind, heart, go to the bathroom, adjust the temperature, mobile devices, lighting, noise and set alarms etc.


There's just nothing like writing, gardening, massage therapy, soaking up the sun at the beach or Bon fires. My top choices also include spending time with family, ceramics, cooking or baking one of my favorite recipes. I like check out bookstores and treat myself to a movie, musical, play, concert or dance performance. Meditation is very soothing if I want something very mellow. So many good ideas to rotate. The sky is the limit.
